"Centuries ago the man Job—so long blessed with every material gift, only to find himself sorely afflicted by all that can befall a human being—sat with his companions and uttered the timeless, ageless question, 'If a man die, shall he live again?' (Job 14:14) Job spoke what every other living man or woman has pondered.
"My beloved brothers and sisters, in our hour of deepest sorrow, we can receive profound peace from the words of the angel that first Easter morning: 'He is not here: for he is risen.' (Matthew 28:6)... As one of His special witnesses on earth today, this glorious Easter Sunday, I declare that this is true."

"He Lives! All Glory to His Name!"
"I realize that no mortal mind can adequately conceive, nor can human tongue appropriately express, the full significance of all that Jesus Christ has done for our Heavenly Father’s children through His Atonement. Yet it is vital that we each learn what we can about it... Your understanding of the Atonement and the insight it provides for your life will greatly enhance your productive use of all of the knowledge, experience, and skills you acquire in mortal life." "You Are My Hands"
"A story is told that during the bombing of a city in World War II, a large statue of Jesus Christ was severely damaged... Experts were able to repair most of the statue, but its hands had been damaged so severely that they could not be restored... Ultimately, the statue remained without hands. However, the people of the city added on the base of the statue of Jesus Christ a sign with these words: 'You are my hands.'

"Come Unto Christ"
"Now your impressions will not have been quite like mine, but you have felt a tug, maybe many tugs, to be someone better... That urge to rise above yourself is a recognition of your need for the Atonement to work in your life, and your need to be sure that it is working. After all you can do, after all your effort, you need confidence that the Atonement is working for you and on you." Read the Full Text. Listen to the MP3.

Is this site affilliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
I would like to be clear before posting any material to this blog, that this site is not affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a grateful baptized member of the Church endeavoring to share meaningful information with those who may be interested. It is my goal to not detract or misrepresent any individual's testimony. For that reason, where I may display only abbreviated quotes I will always link and/or reference the source text. If there are any mistakes on this site, they are my own. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for more information about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints visit the Church's official site, www.mormon.org. I hope this blog will make it self evident why I am so enthusiastic about the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It has and continues to change my life for the better, and I hope it will do the same for you! - The Editor
